Powder River Livestock Equipment originated in Baker, OR in 1938, named after the Powder River, which runs through Baker. Founded by Al Crowson, the company began as a one-man welding shop. Mr. Crowson believed in building heavy-duty products that would hold up under the most rugged conditions.
